JOYA – WORTH
In each edition we will reward an individual artist—selected by the jury after registering the highest score—with the opportunity to become part of JOYA Barcelona Art Jewellery & Objects. The prize is the opportunity to become the face of the next edition of JOYA and their piece of art jewellery will be promoted in the media.
On its 10th anniversary, JOYA Barcelona will acknowledge the effort and work of the artists taking part. The winner of this edition will join Worth Project, receiving a grant of €10,000 to undertake new artistic projects.
AUTOR contemporary and art jewellery fair, Bucharest, Romania. Dan Piersinaru, director and founder of the only fair of its kind in south-eastern Europe, will personally select one artist who will receive the AUTOR Award, representing JOYA at the 18th edition in spring 2019.
ENJOIA'T, PREMIOS DE JOYERíA CONTEMPORÁNEA
The ENJOIA'T Contemporary Jewelry Awards have taken place annually over the past 23 years, acknowledging the most outstanding contemporary creations in the jewellery industry. The awards have therefore become an important meeting point for professional and student jewellers from all over the world, as part of Barcelona Jewellery Week. The ENJOIA'T Awards acknowledge designs that question and transgress the limits of contemporary jewellery creation through originality, technical quality and conceptual richness. With international jewellers taking part in the awards, ENJOIA'T has become a showcase for the industry's latest trends from a range of cultural perspectives.
Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School celebrates the seventh edition of the "Alchimia Award" during JOYA 2018, in a tribute to new faces in the world of contemporary jewellery. This award, consisting of a two-week intensive course at Alchimia School in Florence, will be presented to one of the promising young students from the Selected Schools taking part in this year's edition of JOYA.
